Rosin.

Couch to 5K, for practising an instrument.

Your teacher sets the week. Rosin gets you to Thursday.

Three short guided sessions between lessons, in your teacher's words. A checklist for the next lesson, a journey to get there, a place to flag the thing that squeaked, and a streak that forgives a missed day. Nothing listens to you play and scores you. It does the harder thing: it gets you to turn up.

Pupils

Sign in, enter your teacher's code, and your first week is waiting after your next lesson.

Teachers

Sign in, create a studio, give pupils the code. After each lesson, thirty seconds of notes becomes their week.

Two kinds of account, teacher and pupil. There is no parent login: a parent sets up and holds a young child's account with their own email, and the pupil chooses what to share, with a parent or anyone, as a card. Nobody else can see a pupil's week.

Under 13? A parent or guardian should be the one signed in here, with their own email. The account is theirs; the practice is the pupil's.

    How did it feel?

Sleep on it. That's when the bow arm learns.
